Mommy Diet

I plan on breastfeeding Gwendolyn for as long as I possibly can. I have read that oatmeal increases milk supply as does pumping. So every morning I make some steel cut oatmeal and add brown sugar and milk to it. I am hoping it makes a difference. Also for lunch every day I eat the same thing: turkey sandwich on wheat bread with some fruit (usually a sliced apple) and some chips. My hope is that this will not only help with my milk supply but also help me to slim down. I think a routine is best for me and it may even help Robert too. I can be creative with dinner, although given Robert's response to a certain slow cooker meal, not too creative.

I am also hoping this weather clears up a bit. I would love to be able to go out and walk with the baby in the stroller. But with threats of rain and extremely cold wind I do not feel right taking her out. I want her to see and experience the world outside of the house...not be bundled and covered in a stroller on our walks.

Oh well..guess I will check my Yahoo for the weather forecast for tomorrow.
