Home of our Own

I have been keeping our home buying ventures quiet lately given the outcome of our first attempt to purchase a home. The buyer walked away when the home did not appraise for what we had offered. I was heartbroken and saddened as I did truly love the property....then a few weeks later the home was relisted for a reduced amount! I immediately got on the horn with my lender and the selling agent to see if something could be worked out. Here we are days later and it would appear that the home is ours! We have a close date set of 2/7/11. Wish us luck and hope for the best! If all works out I am moving 2/14-2/18 and I will be able to cross one item off of my 2010 list of things to accomplish!
